Nectarine Barbecue Glaze


This is a delicious sauce for pork or chicken, and it's fast and easy to make. You can also substitute fresh peaches or apricots with excellent results.


1/2 cup Brandied Nectarine Jam (or store-bought jam)
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon finely minced jalapeño pepper (or red pepper flakes to taste)


Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and whisk to blend. The sauce may be refrigerated, covered, for up to 2 months.
