If you like lemonade and ginger, this combination is a perfect match: a refreshing pick-me-up drink for a hot summer day. Ready-to-use ginger juice is available in some markets, but it's easy to make your own. If you have an extraction juicer, simply press 3 or 4 pieces of fresh ginger, or enough to create 2 tablespoons of juice. Otherwise, grate 1/4 cup of peeled ginger. Place small amounts in a clean garlic press, and squeeze the pulp to extract the juice. Discard the pulp, and continue until you have 2 tablespoons of juice. Reserve 1 tablespoon of the remaining grated ginger for the tonic.

|1 tablespoon||grated, peeled fresh ginger|
|1/3 cup||lemon sorbet or sherbet|
Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately in iced glasses.
