Blueberry Purée

Here’s an idea maker: a simple, thick sauce with the bright flavor of juicy blueberries. A great way to add vibrant blueberry flavor to sweet or savory recipes, from breakfast through dinner!

This recipe comes to us from our friend Amelia at Eating Made Easy. It's wonderfully versatile and lends itself beautifully to other recipes she shared with us, Crostini with Goat Cheese, Blueberries and Fresh Parsley and Spinach Salad with Manchego Cheese and Blueberry Vinaigrette.


1 package Earthbound Farm Frozen Organic Blueberries (10 oz, thawed)
2 tablespoons Raw honey
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice


Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse to a thick purée (with some some small chunks). The sauce will keep in the refrigerator, covered tightly, for 1 week.
