A quick purée of bananas and lemonade makes a healthy and delicious start to any morning. If you have bananas on the verge of overripeness, cut them into slices and freeze in small plastic bags, or freeze whole bananas in their skins for later use in smoothies like this.
|1 cup||banana slices (preferably frozen)|
|3/4 cup||lemonade (chilled)|
|1 tablespoon||fresh lemon juice|
Combine the bananas, lemonade, and lemon juice in a blender, and run on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Serve immediately.
