Refreshingly different, this easy-to-prepare juice is a great way to use ripe bananas. If you have frozen banana chunks in your freezer, use about 3 cups as a substitute for the fresh banana slices.
| 3 large | ripe bananas (peeled and sliced 1/2-inch thick) |
| 1 cup | fresh lemon juice |
| 1/2 cup | Sugar (or to taste) |
| 1 1/2 cups | ice water |
Combine the bananas, lemon juice, and sugar in a blender or food processor and purée until smooth. Add 1-1/2 cups of ice water and blend again. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired. Add the remaining 1/2 cup of water if the juice is too thick. Chill in the refrigerator until cold or serve the juice over crushed ice.
