Earthbound Farm Organic Plums are an excellent source of vitamin C and a good source of vitamin K,  which helps the body produce blood-clotting proteins and is important for bone health.

A great way to absorb iron from plant sources, like spinach, is to eat it with a food high in vitamin C, like plums. Try making a plum dressing to drizzle over a spinach salad, or use it with other produce that contains iron. Vitamin C also promotes wound healing, supports the immune system, helps keep skin healthy and acts as an effective antioxidant that may play a role in reducing the risk of certain chronic diseases.  Other antioxidants found in plums are being studied for their links to potential health benefits.
