Well, Mom was right about the many benefits of fruits and veggies. In a new study, researchers at Scotland’s University of St. Andrews found that people who reported eating more fruits and vegetables scored higher on attractiveness ratings given by others. Nutrients in the foods resulted in a more beautiful, vibrant and pleasing skin tone — a characteristic that cues the appearance of health in humans.
