Fresh Local Crops The bountiful fields surrounding the Farm Stand are tended with care by “Farmer Mark” Marino, a dedicated and imaginative farmer with over 26 years’ experience in organic agriculture. He grows some ingredients for our famous salad mixes, but most of Mark’s farm-fresh organic produce is sold at the Farm Stand and to local chefs. Got a question about organic farming? Delicious Handmade Organic Food In addition to stocking a full selection of organic produce, organic and gourmet groceries, and spectacular organic flowers, our Farm Stand’s certified organic kitchen offers delectable foods prepared on the premises, an all-organic salad bar, bakery treats, beverages and smoothies — and now, organic frozen yogurt, too! Explore the Grounds Take a deep breath of fresh valley air and enjoy our Cut-Your-Own Herb Garden, a chamomile aromatherapy Walking Labyrinth, and our Kids’ Garden brimming with touchable, child-friendly foliage. What’s Happening at the Farm Stand During our local growing season from June through October, we host special events every Saturday. From Harvest Walks, Chef Walks, and (kids’s favorite!) Bug Walks to our seasonal Organic Corn Maze and big Harvest Festival, there’s something for everyone on the farm. See the whole season on our Saturday Event Calendar. Educational, Entertaining Group Events Our Farm Stand offers more than food and fun — educational, entertaining information about organic food and farming is woven into every activity on the farm. Casual and welcoming, our Farm Stand is located on our 30-acre research and development farm in California’s picturesque Carmel Valley, just down the road from the original 2.5-acre backyard garden where Earthbound Farm began 25 years ago.
