Production Master Scheduler
Reports To: Senior Scheduling Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- Daily plant production line schedule and plant capacities.
- Assist in developing and supporting weekly and monthly sales forecast modules.
- Enter data to generate daily performance reports and graphs.
- Participate in planning daily production, line capacities, and efficiencies.
- Communicate cross-functionally with sales, procurement, shipping, receiving, and production managers on a daily basis regarding key performance indicators (order fill, inventory accuracy, cost reduction initiatives).
- Assist with ordering raw product and maintaining safety inventory levels for following day demands.
- Analyze daily and weekly yields and raw procurement forecast modules.
- Manage efficiency targets for inventory control.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate meetings.
- Participate in management presentations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend new strategies to increase forecast accuracy.
- Create and maintain tools to measure scheduling accuracy.
Educational Background/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business or a related field required.
- 3-5 years’ experience in planning, forecasting, or a related field.
- Understanding of supply chain processes.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, plus WMS and MRP.
- Self-directed with a sense of urgency and the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Must be flexible with work schedule. PM and weekend shifts may be required.
